Shreni makes spatial environments from data. Working with field recordings, live environmental feeds, and generative visual systems, she constructs immersive spaces in which the forces governing persistence and erasure become perceptible to a body moving through space. Her practice has developed through direct scientific fieldwork, most recently at forest research stations in the Western Ghats, where long-term ecological data on fragmentation and species survival has become both method and material. The work sits at the edge of what systems can feel like from the inside. She is based in Mumbai.
